Chairman’s Welcome

Welcome to the Forsyth County Republican Party’s website. Thank you for taking the time to visit. We have redesigned the website, so please look at it and give us your feedback. Our hope is that the information presented will become a useful tool for you. We will present information concerning the Republican Party, our county, state, and national governments, and local events in which you may be interested. The pages currently posted are the Home page, News, Calendar of Events, Contact Us, and as always, you will be able to join the party online. In July, we will launch the e-mail newsletter. Twice a month, the party will reach out to the public. The newsletters will be informative and concise.

The next 16 months promise to be an exciting time in politics and government. Consider the issues facing our county, from water and roads to education and growth. Not to be outdone, our nation faces tough decisions concerning a secure immigration policy and the war in Iraq to fixing Medicare and Social Security while reigning in government spending. Politically, it could not be busier. In Forsyth County alone, there are more than 10 positions up for election, including three commissioners and three seats on the Board of Education. On the national stage, a Presidential double-header, a wide-open Presidential primary and a general election guaranteed to be exciting to the end.
